Size guide – Women’s dance sandal (mm ↔ EU)

The mm value is the last length (the shoemaking form the upper is lasted over) – this is a technical size reference, not the same logic as street shoes!

Note: for women’s sandals, we often see a 1–2 EU size difference even for the same foot length in mm!

Why can the ideal EU size differ for the same mm?
  • Point & arch: stronger pointing and a higher arch can change how the length feels in the shoe.
  • Sole length in dance: it’s not street-shoe logic; an overly long sole may fold back when pointing and can get in the way.
  • Strap tightness: tighter straps = more control and heel stability, but they can rub sensitive skin.
  • Growth: for young dancers, the “perfect” size can be outgrown quickly; sizing up may fit best later.

Exchange: if the size isn’t right, send it back within 14 days and we’ll exchange it (subject to stock availability; standard in-stock items only – not for custom-made orders)!
